Annie Lennox's parents include Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She studied the harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for three years. Lennox was able to live by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox was not satisfied with the level of her skills compared to the other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. The band did not get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Her main role was as The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until 1980. That was also where she got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started working on her first solo album Diva, which was released by 1992. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album was released in November 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were composed by Lennox. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album, which was released in conjunction with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25, 1954. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s.
